👥 At our plenary Shaping Humanity Together, our speakers explored different models of statehood, #sustainability, and of achieving peace by 2030. Martín Burt, Founder and Executive Director of Fundación Paraguaya, explained how his foundation was born during the military dictatorship in Paraguay, and has worked for 40 years to “discover how to incorporate the street vendor into the economy." He urged the audience to use Horasis to challenge the #SDGs and make our models work for everyone in society. Vit Jedlicka shared the origin story of Liberland, a micronation in Eastern Europe powered by blockchain, and a result of his search for a “new model of statehood and society.” “The boldest dream that I can envision is peace on earth,” said David Gershon, Founder of the Empowerment Institute Center for Reinventing the Planet. Gershon’s “moonshot” is to aim for peace on Earth by 2030, in part by partnering in a global “peace game.” Cordell Carter, Esq. 🌎, Founder of the The Festival of the Diaspora, a gathering of leaders from across the Americas, urged us to take “data-driven decisions” in order to move away from bias. “How do we scale humanity without losing our humanity?” was the question asked by Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri, Founder of Open Origin, emphasizing the need to care for our planet. “Nature doesn't need humanity, humanity needs nature.” Wonderfully moderated by Natália Ariede, #CNBC anchor, who told the audience that while today there are plenty of opportunities to make your voice heard - “Never have so many people wanted to talk rather than to listen.”

Next phase of development of Liberland

It was combination of biggest and most focus event I have been to so far.

In 2015, Vit Jedlicka did something extraordinary - he founded a new country. On a strip of land along the Danube that neither Croatia nor Serbia claimed, he declared the Free Republic of Liberland. Liberland Liberland is a one‑of‑a‑kind experiment in freedom: a state built on voluntarism, minimal taxation, and the conviction that governance should empower people, not constrain them. I visited The Network State Company conference (which is def bigger than last year) to hear Vít talk about how his network of “network states” is shaping a new era: - Building digital nations before physical recognition - Designing governance that scales with communities, not borders - Showing that sovereignty can start with an idea, not an army Liberland is still not recognized by the UN, but I believe recognition isn’t the point- It is the proof that new models of governance are possible. In a world where institutions often lag behind innovation, experiments like Liberland remind us that the state itself can be reimagined.

Re-elected as a Congressman for Liberland. For me, blockchain was never just code. It was a philosophy. A way to rebuild systems from the ground up. Freedom. Choice. Participation. Not granted by institutions, but owned by individuals. That same philosophy lives at the heart of Liberland. A nation being shaped not by borders or bureaucracy, but by merit, transparency, and belief in liberty as a birthright. This re-election isn’t about holding a seat. It’s about carrying forward a vision: To prove that governance itself can evolve, and that sovereignty can be redesigned for the digital age. Stablecoins are creating the most efficient financial system in history and Europe's panicking because America controls it. Here's how faster money made the dollar unstoppable: The EU just accelerated its digital euro plans. China is expressing concern about "dollar hegemony" in crypto. They see what's happening. American financial power is expanding through technology: Of $278 billion in stablecoins globally, over 75% are dollar-denominated. Tether holds $90 billion.USDC holds $60 billion. Euro-backed stablecoins? Less than $10 billion combined. The GENIUS Act requires stablecoin issuers to back tokens with US Treasuries. Specifically, T-bills maturing in 93 days or less. This creates automatic demand for US government debt with every token minted. Tether and Circle now hold $130 billion in Treasury bills. That's 2% of all outstanding T-bills. If stablecoins reach $2 trillion, that's $2 trillion in forced Treasury demand. Traditional remittances cost 5% and take days. Stablecoin transfers cost 2.5% and settle in minutes. This efficiency is transforming global payments: 500 million wallet addresses worldwide now use stablecoins. 25,000+ merchants accept them globally. Daily transaction volume hits $7 billion. All settling in digital dollars. In Turkey and Argentina, citizens use dollar stablecoins to bypass capital controls. In Nigeria, they protect savings from inflation with USDT. Anyone with a smartphone can now access dollars. Corporate adoption grew 25% in 2024. Businesses use stablecoins for instant cross-border payments. No conversion fees. No delays. Just immediate settlement in stable currency. Over 30% of Ethereum transactions involve stablecoins. They power lending, trading, and yield generation in DeFi. The infrastructure for programmable money already exists. Traditional banking couldn't reach billions of unbanked people. Too expensive. Too many barriers. Stablecoins changed that overnight. Financial inclusion through technology, not charity. The system works because it's voluntary. No enforcement needed. People choose dollar stablecoins because they're stable, accessible, and programmable. Superior technology wins. Forward-thinking family offices see the opportunity. The authors examined immunological features in individuals experiencing persistent symptoms of post-COVID-19 vaccination syndrome, a chronic debilitating condition that occurs after COVID-19 vaccination. The participants with post-COVID-19 vaccination syndrome had reduced CD4+ T-cell subsets in the circulation and increased TNFα levels in CD8+ T-cells. Among the cell populations of myeloid origin, they had reduced cDC2 cells and elevated non-classical monocytes. The participants with post-COVID-19 vaccination syndrome had serological evidence for recent Epstein-Barr Virus reactivation. Importantly, elevated levels of spike protein (full-length S and S1 subunit) were detected in circulation up to 709 days after vaccination, even in individuals with no evidence of detectable SARS-CoV-2 infection. They also had increased IgM reactivities against 65 autoantigens, IgG reactivity against 1 autoantigen, and IgA reactivities against 39 autoantigens. The control participants had increased reactivities against 21 autoantigens, 18 of which were of the IgG isotype and five of the IgA isotype. The authors concluded that these results highlight potential immune differences in individuals with post-COVID-19 vaccination syndrome. In some regions, temperatures rose by as much as 10 degrees Celsius in a relatively short period. Switzerland and half of Europe were once blanketed in thick ice sheets, a scenario unimaginable today. What is striking about that period is that humans played no role in that transformation. Even today, despite our advancements in science, we do not fully understand the mechanisms behind such rapid natural changes. Yet, our civilization is increasingly focused on the role humans play in the Earth's climate—a topic worthy of discussion but often approached with more alarm than pragmatism. While some leaders like Elon Musk are crafting ambitious visions to terraform Mars, many are consumed with the prospect of a predicted 1-degree Celsius rise in global temperatures by the end of the century. In the name of combating climate change, we have witnessed policies that, while well-intentioned, have led to unintended consequences. The biofuel revolution, for instance, triggered food crises as agricultural resources were diverted to fuel production. Similarly, an overreliance on renewable energy, without sufficient integration of reliable nuclear power, has caused energy crises in several parts of the world. Interestingly, while the Earth’s climate remains relatively stable, the political climate has seen seismic shifts. Recent elections, such as those of Donald Trump and Javier Milei, reflect growing skepticism toward centralized climate policies and agreements like the Paris Accords. Trump's withdrawal from the Paris Agreement was not just a political statement but a signal that the flow of funds into the global warming industry may see radical change. At Liberland, we believe this presents an opportunity to rethink our approach—not through fear and coercion, but through innovation, empowerment, and freedom. In Liberland, we champion progress over sustainability—a progress that emerges from free markets, a deregulated economy, and the entrepreneurial spirit of individuals. History shows that as nations reach a certain level of development, they naturally begin to care more about their environment. Wealthier societies are cleaner societies because they have the resources to invest in environmental preservation without compromising their prosperity.

It was a great honor to meet the President of Poland in person during the Davos events. We are thrilled to see so much support for Liberland coming from Poland! We are also grateful that the recognition of Liberland has already been discussed in the Polish Parliament (Sejm). Notably, on July 24, 2016, seven members of the Kukiz'15 party officially appealed to the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Witold Waszczykowski, to recognize Liberland as a newly independent state in Europe.
